Our Mission
Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Our mission drives everything we do.

Some of Our Accomplishments:

Funds raised through the San Antonio Heart Ball supports many local efforts in our community.  Some of the incredible things the San Antonio Office has done and continues to support financially include:

• Granted 18 Awards at 3 Institutions for a total of $2,132,171 in research support in San Antonio

• Recognized 47 Fit Friendly Work Sites

• More than 1,100 employees participated in Check. Change. Control.

• Currently implementing the fifth Teaching Garden at an area school

• 10,488 children participated in Youth Market wellness initiatives in 2015

   

Our 2020 Goal

We are working toward improving the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent, and reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent, all by the year 2020.
