Passion Committee Members serve as the face of the organization and take on grassroots efforts such as creating, executing and/or assisting with Go Red For Women^® awareness opportunities and activities throughout the year. 

Who Serves on the Passion Committee?

Individuals with a desire and passion to help spread AHA’s key messages and make a difference by being involved in the Go Red For Women^® movement. 

Committee Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement Go Red For Women events in the market

• Act as a spokesperson or share story at local events and corporations

• Recruit companies to participate in National Wear Red Day

• Write to our sponsors and thank them for their involvement

• Participate on-site at health fairs/community events

• Join and support You’re the Cure Advocacy Network

• Attend the annual luncheon and related events*:

• September 10, 11:45am-1:00pm: Passion Committee Kickoff Meeting

• September 25, 6:30-8:30pm: Red Heart Collection Survivor Fashion Show

• November 10, 11:45am-1:00pm: Passion Committee Meeting

• January 12, 11:45am-1:00pm: Passion Committee Meeting

• February 5: National Wear Red Day

• February 25, 11:30am-1:30pm: Go Red For Women Luncheon

• March 29, 11:45am-1:00pm: Passion Committee Meeting
